Gadsden, Alabama. 2 days before the Atlanta Regional. The corps hasn't performed a show in 2 days, so there has probably been some serious cleaning/adding of new material.

Discuss.

Yikes!!!

Of the judges we've seen...

Bret Mascaro gave star3.gif 's a really poor score in San Antonio (if you need to know why the corps isn't performing in Murphreesboro, look at that night's recap).

The judges we haven't...

This is John Howell's first look. He judges Quarter-Finals last year.
Steve Calhoun judged Quarter's last year.

Jeff Prosperie judged Semi's last year.
Jyle Miller judged Semi's last year.

J.J. Pipitone has been around a while. Don't know if that is good or bad.
Tim Cochran... I know nothing.

All in all, a very experienced panel. Hoping the corps performs well and sets the tone for the rest of the season!

I still believe that this show has the potential to be not an eighth-place or seventh-place show, but a CHAMPIONSHIP show!

Bret Mascaro gave the Blue Stars a 17.1 in visual performance, just .1 off of their high of 17.2 (achieved at two shows). The overall score seemed low in SA, but I don't think Bret Mascaro was the reason.

As well as laundry day yesterday, they left early from Louisiana the previous day because of rain, so they haven't had 2 full days rehearsal, and they have had 2 good nights of floor time. So I hope that means they are well rested and ready to go.

You are correct... it was Kyle Miller. Looked at the wrong recap!
