At the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps, we strive to provide our members with educational and performance opportunities that help them develop positive life skills. To date, we have had many thousands of young adults participate, learn and grow in the Blue Stars. By making a positive impact on the lives of these individuals, we believe we're making a positive impact in our community, our country and throughout the world.

It is more difficult than ever to meet our financial goals during these difficult economic times -- especially with the rising costs for food and fuel. We need your financial support to continue providing young adults with the positive, life-changing experience that is the Blue Stars.

The Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps was a DCI World Class Finalist again in 2010, placing 8th for the third consecutive season with our popular production, "Houdini." In 2011, the corps will perform a show based on the Bourne trilogy of movies. It's a concept we think will absolutely delight audiences across the country this summer as we explore the excitement surrounding the life of a spy in a chase-and-be-chased thrill ride!

River City Rhapsody returned in a huge way in 2010, with thousands of people attending the events in La Crosse and Metamora. This year we're adding a third show under the River City Rhapsody banner, with a new event on June 28, 2011 at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, MN. River City Rhapsody - Metamora will be held July 12, 2011 in Metamora, IL; and River City Rhapsody - La Crosse presented by Logistics Health Incorporated will be July 15, 2011 at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex on the UW-La Crosse campus. I'm also pleased to announce a new partnership with Jupiter Band Instruments to provide the corps with brass instruments in 2011 and fulfill our instrument needs for many years into the future.
