At the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps, we strive to provide our members with educational and performance opportunities that help them develop positive life skills. To date, we have had many hundreds of young adults participate, learn and grow in the Blue Stars. By making a positive impact on the lives of these individuals, we believe we're making a positive impact in our community, our country and throughout the world.

WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT! We rely on the generous support of people like you to offset the considerable costs of touring and keep tuition as low as possible for our students. It is more difficult than ever to meet our financial goals during these difficult economic times. We need your financial support to continue providing 150 students with the positive, life-changing experience that is the Blue Stars.

The Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps was a DCI World Class Finalist again in 2009, placing 8th for the second consecutive season with our popular production, "The Factory." In 2010, the corps will perform an extremely challenging production entitled, "Houdini." The Blue Stars will dive into the mystery, intrigue and life of illusionist Harry Houdini, and in doing so have a few surprises ready to spring on the field this summer.

Additionally, I couldn't be more excited to announce the return of River City Rhapsody to La Crosse in 2010. The new stadium at UW-La Crosse is magnificent, and the lineup of corps is fantastic. We've also added a second River City Rhapsody in Metamora, IL that will bring top-tier drum corps to Central Illinois this summer. I'm also pleased to announce the continuation of our strong partnership with Stanbury Uniforms. We've been partners with Stanbury since 2003, and they have provided us with two unique looks in that time period. The 2010 season will see the next iteration of the Blue Stars look, with a completely new uniform debuting this summer.
