At the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps, we strive to provide our members with educational and performance opportunities that help them develop positive life skills. To date, we have had many hundreds of young adults participate, learn and grow in the Blue Stars. By making a positive impact on the lives of these individuals, we believe we're making a positive impact on the world.

WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT! We rely on the generous support of people like you to offset the considerable costs of touring and keep tuition as low as possible for our students. It is more difficult than ever to meet our financial goals during these difficult economic times. We need your financial support to continue providing 150 students with the positive, life-changing experience that is the Blue Stars.

The Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps is coming off its most successful competitive season in more than 30 years, finishing in 8th place at the 2009 Drum Corps International World Championships. Our "Le Tour" production was a wonder to behold, capturing the attention of fans throughout the nation and propelling the corps into DCI World Class finals for the first time since 1979.

As a recipient of this letter, you are among the very first people to receive information about the Blue Stars 2009 production, "The Factory." This summer, the Blue Stars will explore the life, sounds, imagery, and experiences of a 1940s era factory worker in the United States. Often called the Greatest Generation, the people of this time confronted evil and ultimately changed and defined life in America and the World. Please help us bring "The Factory" to life.
