Raquel Rodriquez began drum corps as a member of the 1992 Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps. She performed with Brass Theater from 1995-96 and 1998. In 1999 she was a member of the original London Cast of Blast!.

Raquel received her BM and MA degrees at West Texas A&M University and DMA degree from the University of North Texas. Raquel is currently the Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. Prior to her appointment at NKU, Raquel was a member of the Synergy Brass Quintet and performed in over 200 concerts and clinics across the country.

In 2009, Raquel joined Star United, a mini-corps that recently won the 2009 DCA mini-corps championships. Raquel will also participate in the 2010 Star of Indiana Alumni Corps as they prepare to perform a show at the 2010 DCI Semi-finals.
