Tavius Cooper will be joining the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps as a Colorguard Technician for the 2008 season.

Tavius has been involved in the marching arts since he began high school. He has performed with many outstanding ensembles, including The JSU Marching Southerners, Spirit DBC, Carolina Crown DBC, CenterStage Winter Guard, and most recently, the 2007 Phantom Regiment Winter Guard.

Previously, Tavius served as a tech for the Boston Crusaders DBC. He has instructed innumerable Alabama and Atlanta Area High School and Independent Performing Ensembles. Tavius currently serves as Director of Guard Programs at West Forsyth High School, as well as Co-Director of the Guard programs at Brookwood High School, Norcross High School, and Georgia Tech, all of the Metro Atlanta Area. He is also the director of a new Independent A Class Winter Guard, Aureus Independent.

In the fall Tavius will be attending college to persue high degree in math and his Masters in Education Degree.
