The Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce Frank Sullivan as Brass Arranger for the upcoming season. The 2012 season will be Sullivan's seventh as the brass arranger and composer for the Blue Stars.

"Frank Sullivan has been the architect of the Blue Stars brass sound since our return to World Class competition in 2006," said Executive Director Brad Furlano. "Frank's wonderful arrangements have been the foundation for our success over the past six seasons, and I can't wait to hear what he brings to the field in 2012."

Frank Sullivan

Sullivan was a member of the Star of Indiana organization from 1991 to 1993 and both a member and instructor with Star of Indiana's Brass Theater from 1994 to 1997. In 1998 he joined The Cadets' brass staff, eventually assuming the brass caption head role there in 1999.

Away from the drum corps activity, Frank graduated from Indiana State University in 1996 with a degree in Music Education and was a band director in Indiana from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004 Sullivan toured with BLAST!, serving as a performing soloist, the music manager, and the artistic supervisor. Frank Sullivan is a much sought after composer and arranger in drum corps, marching band, winter guard and winter percussion. He is a founder of Inspire Music and Entertainment Productions, an arranging company based in Tampa Bay, Florida.

"I am honored to continue working with the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps," said Frank Sullivan. "Through the years, the bond that has developed amongst the designers, staff, and members has been truly special, and I look forward to helping to create another entertaining and sophisticated Blue Stars' production in 2012."
